Any terms used but not defined here shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms.
It is part of our policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any information we may collect about you.
This Policy may be changed periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with any applicable laws. You are advised to regularly review the Policy for possible changes, although where we make substantial changes, we will try and give you notice of this.
On the Services you may find a number of links to other websites or applications in the form of advertisements and/or for the purposes of completion of mobile payments. Although these websites or applications are selected with care, we are not responsible for the processing of your personal data through these websites or applications. For example, you send us information when you use take a photo with our Dekko app. When using any of our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Policy.

We may collect the following technical and/or Personal Information if you engage with our Services, for the purposes and in the manner described below:
User service improvement and relationship management
If you contact us with a question or a complaint, or with regards to your use of our Services, we may ask you for certain information to identify yourself and to help us respond to your enquiry. We use any personal data supplied to improve our user support services and respond to an enquiry related to the Services.
To be able to respond appropriately to your question or complaint, we note details of your question or complaint in our user database. We may also ask you for contact details in order to keep you informed about your question or complaint. If you have a question or complaint relating to the usage of the Services, we may also ask for additional personal details to confirm your identity. We may also review your user history including time of when the Services was used, parts of the Services visited, information accessed and location to improve user service and to respond more effectively to your question or complaint.

Your Account on Dekko
When using the App you have a private account, where no users can follow your activity, link an artwork to you or view the locations you took a photo. User will only see the photo you took. This is because Dekko at heart is a community of art-lovers, and our mission is to make provide a service for entertainment purposes only.
When you sign up to our Services, you may provide an email address. If you install the App you may also give your consent to notifications from us on your smartphone. You can at any time unsubscribe from any and all communication from Dekko. All emails we send will include a link to directly unsubscribe.
The Company may share data with third parties including but not limited to potential third party advertisers for the purpose of advertisements on our Services, and by signing up to our Services you agree to the sharing of your data and/or receiving in-app advertisements or other communication from such third parties.
Log Data
We also collect information that your browser or device automatically sends when you use our Services. Log data includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with our Services.

You are responsible for selecting any password (associated with your App account (if applicable at any time) and/or those of your associated accounts or email ids), and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services. For example, ensuring any passwords associated with accessing your personal information and associated accounts are secure and confidential.
We follow generally accepted standards to collect, store and protect Personal Information, including the use of encryption. We retain the Personal Information for as long as it is needed to provide the Services you have requested and thereafter for legal and service purposes. We maintain strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your user information, including your personal information, from unauthorised or inappropriate access.
Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information
(i). Restrict
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information if (i) you are concerned about the accuracy of your personal information; (ii) you believe your personal information has been unlawfully processed; (iii) you need us to maintain the personal information solely for the purpose of a legal claim; or (iv) we are in the process of considering your objection in relation to processing on the basis of legitimate interests.

You may have a right to request that we delete the Personal Information we hold about you at any time, and we will take reasonable steps to delete your personal information from our current records, as may be commercially reasonable. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will let you know how the deletion affects your use of our Services. There may be exceptions to this right for specific legal reasons which, if applicable, we will set out for you in response to your request.
You can at any time revoke your consent to our Privacy Policy by deleting your Dekko account. If you terminate or delete your account, we will delete all personally identifiable information within 180 days of the deletion of your account. Content that can be fully anonymized, like photos of artworks, will not be deleted, but instead disconnected from your deleted account and will no longer be traceable back to you. Please be aware that search engines and similar third parties may still retain copies of your personal information that has been made public at least once, like certain profile information and public comments, even after you have deleted the information from our services or deactivated your account. Further, please remember that if you delete the App from your device, your account and information remains on our servers. In other words, if you want to delete your App data, it is not enough to delete the App – you need to delete your account by following the applicable terms and conditions of the Third Party Stores and/or any applicable payment third party processors and/or sending an email. You can control your personal information from by writing an email to support@getdekko.com. Please also note that you may not be able to benefit from all features if you request the deletion of your information, object or withdraw your consent to the processing of your information.
Our Policy Towards Children
Our Services are not directed to persons under 18. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@getdekko.com We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.
